What does laser eye surgery cost?
The cost of laser eye surgery depends on the level of correction required and the type of procedure carried out.
At NewVision Laser Eye Surgery Clinics, routine LASIK is approximately $1975 per eye and PRK surgery $1875 per eye.
The cost includes all mapping, vision testing and medications related to the surgery.
Post-operative visits and any retreatment procedures that may be necessary during the first 12 months are also included in the price you are quoted.

Laser eye surgery with private health insurance and Medicare
Private health insurers and Medicare do not cover laser correction surgery.
However, some rebate is available on concessional deductions through your tax return.
